That was okay until I started needed expensive procedures, like root canals and crowns. Last year we paid for a root canal ($1000) and this year we paid for a root canal ($1100) and both of those teeth still need crowns (which will cost $1000 apiece). Exactly a week ago I was involved in an accident at the fault of another driver. The other driver's insurance company (USAA) has been sitting on the case not doing a damn thing. I had to call them yesterday just to get them to read my accident report, and accept liability. They hadn't even contacted the policy holder! They told me that they would set me up with a rental car, and cover the fees. Today I went to Enterprise to pick up the rental car and was asked if the insurance company (USAA) had mentioned anything about a underage bracket fee. When I told them that they hadn't, the woman at enterprise contacted USAA. It was then that they stated that they would not pay for the underage fee (I am 19), which is about $22 per day. Naturally, I was completely outraged. Both my insurance company and USAA's offices are closed at this time, so I have to wait until tomorrow to contact them. I was told by my agent that because the accident wasn't my fault, ANY cost that is a result of the accident MUST be covered by the other driver's insurance company. What can I do about this? I don't have the money to pay for the fee, but I need the transportation. I've already been without transportation for a week.

Car insurance smh idk what to do?

Ok I previously asked this same question but I just wanted to be a little more clear about things because there was obviously some confusion. The car I purchased was a 2001 Nissan Maxima and I got it for $1700 with a few minor things wrong with it. When I called an insurance agency they told me that I'll basically be buying the car 4 times in the next 6 months. About $7500 for 6 months. I'm 22, living in Brooklyn NY and those rates seem outrageous. I seen forums where ppl said they were paying 2-300 a month that's why I thought buying the car was a good idea and I wasn't aware that I could get a quote without purchasing insurance because the internet never quotes me. What can I do about that insanely high insurance rate? Will any private companies provide insurance for me? Should I just sell the car I just bought it today? Can I even sell it? all I did was sign his title so idek how I can sell it. Can he get another title? I'll give him $200 for the trouble and he can sell to sum1else

Is it standard procedure for home insurance agents to visit your house before they insure it?

Friends of mine wanted to save money and dropped their health insurance offered through work and got a cheaper, private policy instead without maternity coverage. Their teen is pregnant and the no maternity coverage applies to the covered children as well. They make too much to qualify for Medicaid. When they checked into signing up for a different plan, the insurance said that their teen's current pregnancy wouldn't be covered. Didn't the health care reform include a provision that children cannot be denied coverage due to preexisting conditions?

My mum is on my dads insurance and she is going to take out her own insurance and put me as a named driver while staying on my dads insurance.
